In this foundational class, participants learn the basics of horse communication through observation and guided interaction, building awareness of how energy and body language shape communication.

It’s an opportunity to slow down, drop into nature, and relate with greater awareness and intention. Understanding their language opens new possibilities for connection and partnership in all aspects of life.

Set on a historic private farm outside Washington, D.C., in Darnestown, MD, the class takes place among open fields, old trees, and a small herd of horses. Exact directions will be sent after registration.

This is a non-riding class, all work is done on the ground with horses and with other participants.

There is a $25 per-person discount for groups of 2 or more, choose that option in the drop-down.

We welcome adults and parent-child pairs. This class makes a fun and unique date!

Class size is a maximum of 8 people. If you would like to host a group larger than 8, please reach out and let us design the perfect experience.

This workshop is led by Lindsay Karson, who has worked with horses since she was seven and has spent decades teaching people to ride, care for, and communicate with them. That experience is woven together with extensive training in meditation, yoga, and her role as a corporate trainer.
